Kitchen Design

As we are certified residential lighting designers based in California, we are perhaps more cognizant of the need for excellent lighting design combined with California's rather more stringent requirements for energy efficiency. We are faced with the design challenge of creating spaces that have a sense of warmth and inviting comfort and at the same time are highly efficient arenas for the preparation and serving of food.
As Barry Brukoff is an accomplished amateur chef, he is always interested in keeping up with the latest innovations in modern kitchen design. We strive to maintain a very current library of all available lines of kitchen appliance manufacturers both European and domestic.

As the kitchen has become more of a central core in the creation of contemporary interiors, a greater focus on the kitchen as the hub of the home has arisen. The photographs featured in this section of our website, as well as those shown in the individual residential sections, range from small efficient high-rise apartments to spacious residences in California and Santa Fe New Mexico. The common theme requested by our clients seems to be a warm inviting, functional and practical space for living. Most of all, we are interested in creating places for people to have fun, to relax and enjoy their families and to have a comfortable place to kick back and relax.
